Building a Social Strategy Like a Well-Orchestrated Job Site

The mission

In a competitive industry like renovation, a company’s reputation isn’t built on finished projects alone. It’s shaped where customers dream, compare, and get inspired: on social media.

Groupe 3R, known for its high-end kitchens and turnkey renovations, already had a modest presence on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. But as the competition polished their feeds with increasingly curated, trend-driven content, it became clear that casually updating social channels wasn’t enough to stand out.

That’s when a new project joined our ongoing strategic support: turning the social media efforts of Groupe 3R’s internal team into a solid, structured presence with real impact.

The solution

To give their social presence a new sense of direction, we started by stepping back. We dove into how Quebecers behave on social media when it comes to renovation—especially kitchens—to better understand where they seek info, get inspired, and take action.

That research helped us shape a strategy rooted in what actually resonates across platforms. The outcome: a strong brand personality, a confident and warm tone, clearly defined content pillars, and tailored roadmaps for each channel.

But more than a set of deliverables, what we really built was a collaborative work process. Together with Groupe 3R’s social team, we developed a realistic editorial calendar—one they could truly keep up with—based on current trends and their internal capacity.

We hosted two hands-on workshops in their Brossard and Griffintown showrooms, helping uncover new content opportunities and co-create original, visually striking posts. The goal? Equip their team with everything they needed to work independently and confidently.

The result

Within a few months, the transformation was undeniable. Groupe 3R went from a quiet presence to a vibrant, inspiring, and cohesive brand voice that drew in renovation and design lovers alike. Their audience grew by 32% on Facebook and 38% on Instagram, with organic reach on Instagram tripling.

And on Pinterest, a whole new playground came to life—from zero to 600+ pins in just a few months. Traffic jumped 7x, with seasonal peaks reaching close to 800 monthly views around fall and the holidays.

But beyond the numbers, what we’re most proud of is the autonomy and ownership their team now has. Thanks to strategic support, hands-on training, and regular performance reviews, Groupe 3R is creating high-quality content that continues to impress us. Even better: the strategy is still alive—adapted, refined, and owned by the very people who make it happen every day. And to us, that’s the ultimate sign of success.

"There’s nothing more powerful than a company that takes control of its own content. That’s what allows you to capture real moments, to highlight gems no outside team could ever spot. With Groupe 3R, we built a strategy that gave them that freedom—and today, it’s their team bringing it to life with heart and creativity."

Project details

The strategy we built was anchored around three main goals: increasing Groupe 3R’s visibility on social media, strengthening their brand identity beyond project showcases and moodboards, and diversifying content formats to reach potential clients at every step of their journey.

A key objective throughout: empowering their team. We made content creation more accessible, so they could capture everyday moments from their job sites—the kind of content only an internal team can truly tell. We started by redefining their brand voice specifically for social: warm, confident, and refined—halfway between the authority of a designer and the approachability of a hands-on contractor. We added content pillars to fuel inspiration, highlight completed projects, demystify renovation steps… and most importantly, bring in a human touch and a sense of trust in a process that can often feel overwhelming.

In terms of execution, we developed a calendar tailored to their reality—factoring in their available time for content creation and syncing with seasonal trends and planning cycles. Regular performance reports helped us fine-tune formats, identify top performers (like behind-the-scenes stories, before-and-after shots, and moodboards), and adjust strategy per platform. Pinterest, for example, quickly became a key channel to reach users in their inspiration phase.

"Working with Prospek—and especially with Valentine—helped me understand the real impact of our social media presence. It also gave me the confidence to create content myself. Their support gives me the tools I need to shape my ideas and even spark new ones in our meetings. Our content is stronger and more inspiring now, and that motivates me to keep going every day."
